High Performance Lighting
& Rigging Since 1982
Founded by Mario De Sisti, a pioneer whose early career at Cinecittà Studios defined a lifetime of dedication to the art of light. Designed, manufactured, and tested in Italy and Slovenia.
Our story
De Sisti was founded in 1982 by Mario De Sisti, an exceptional designer and innovator whose work helped shape the modern professional lighting industry. Mario began his career at just ten years old, earning the nickname Piccoletto — "the little one" — from the gaffers at Cinecittà Studios.
Decades later, when he established De Sisti, the company honoured his legacy by naming one of its signature products The Piccoletto, engraved with Mario's own handwriting as a tribute to his lifelong dedication to the craft.
From its earliest days, De Sisti has been defined by a commitment to high-performance engineering, technical accuracy, and uncompromising product quality. That foundation has made the brand a trusted leader in the Entertainment, Broadcasting, and Architectural Lighting industries.
Today, De Sisti continues to advance the Professional Lighting field through three core values: Quality, Innovation, and Safety. Every product is designed, manufactured, and tested in house at our facilities in Italy and Slovenia, ensuring complete control over quality, reliability, and safety.
